Our in-house installation team will take care of everything from start to finish. They’re fully trained, experienced, and passionate about making your journey smooth and stress-free. Think of them as your personal power heroes—friendly, professional, and ready to get the job done right!

Your selected EV charger is securely mounted in the agreed location, with a dedicated EV cable run from the charger to your home’s fuse box. The cable is neatly clipped along the walls unless an alternative method has been arranged. A new circuit with RCD protection is installed, fully tested, and certified. Once powered up, we perform safety checks, commission the charger, guide you through its use, and notify the electricity network of the installation.

A standard installation typically takes around 3 hours from start to finish. More complex installations can range from half a day to several days, depending on the requirements. All details will be confirmed during your survey and outlined in your written quote.

In most cases, no prior permission is needed to install your charger. However, during your survey, we check for factors that may require approval, such as:

  • A looped supply (shared connection with a neighbouring property)
  • A low-rated main incoming fuse
  • Being in a conservation area
  • If your property is a listed building

If any of these apply, we’ll guide you through the approval process.

Rob and the Team were nothing short of incredible when they installed my solar array (13 Panels) and Battery Storage (Tesla PW3 + DC Expansion).

Not only has the installation been a really smooth process, with clear communication throughout, prompt arrival timings and flexible around our plans, but the end product is something I'm extremely happy with.

The aftercare from RMD has also been amazing, completing minor collateral damage repairs (the expected odd broken tile) but also checking in on how the system was running, and checking I was still happy with the install. Also took the time to talk me through the equipment, isolators etc. Cable runs were also logical and blended in to the other utilities around my property.

By the end of it, they felt like part of the family. Would hire them back for any of my electrical needs in a heartbeat
